Luminator Technology Group has technology changes to share ahead of the Expo

There’s been a few local changes at Luminator Technology Group recently. Six months ago, Anthony Goodman was appointed to Senior Manager of Operations at the technology solutions group in Australia.

Goodman says the upcoming Expo will serve as the perfect opportunity for Luminator to show its latest direction.

"Our local Luminator operation in Australia has been through some management changes over the past year," Goodman told ABC. "It’s a chance for us to now showcase what we have to offer whilst providing a new set of eyes on the organisation as well.

Luminator has prepared a wide range of its products ready to display at the Expo. Luminator’s various LED signs for different sizes will be shown, along with the company’s TFT displays that have the ability to show Next Stop route information for passengers inside the buses.

Goodman says he’s excited to present next stop passenger information on the screens and showcase what Luminator’s signs can do.

"We’ll be able to present and show the ability of our screens around advertising and showing different images," Goodman says. "We’ll also discuss with the industry how we’re looking to implement our own CCTV products with a Luminator user interface  as part of Luminator’s suite of products."

Luminator will also display a new ADR approved camera mirror systems at the Expo, to display how it can replace the external wing mirrors on a bus or coach. Goodman says Luminator has Australian distribution rights for the product in the country and has already deployed the system to buses in both Melbourne and Queensland.

"It’s a new product for the Australian market," Goodman says. "It’s gaining a lot of positive feedback from bus drivers around the safety aspects and improved vision."
